In 2025, there are many platforms built to help creators, coaches, and online entrepreneurs build and grow digital businesses. Stan Store and Systeme.io are two platforms that have grown in popularity over the past few years. I have tested both platforms extensively and this detailed article will discuss each platform’s pros, cons, features, pricing and how they compare to each other.

If you are finding it difficult to choose between Stan Store and Systeme.io, this guide will help you make the right decision.

Brief Overview

Stan Store is a simple to use, creator-first platform built to make selling digital products and services easy. It works best for influencers, coaches, and content creators who want to launch digital products easily and fast.

Systeme.io is an all-in-one platform that has in-built email marketing, funnels, courses, and automation. It provides a powerful set of sales and marketing tools for digital creators with marketing experience to create products and generate revenue.

User Experience

Stan Store

Stan Store provides a guided onboarding process that makes it easy for users to start and launch products quickly. Stan Store also allows users to customize their store’s look with various pre-made design templates, upload offers (courses, coaching, PDFs, etc.), and start selling right away. The user experience was built with creators in mind with a clean, simple, easy to use and mobile-friendly product.

Systeme.io

Systeme.io feels more like a traditional marketing platform, it has more features than Stan Store, but takes a while to fully understand. The user interface looks simple but it feels a bit outdated compared to Stan Store. Setting up your account takes longer on Systeme because there’s much more to set up: email lists, automation rules, funnels, and custom domains.

However, Systeme provides training videos and once you get the hang of it, Systeme.io is quite powerful.

Winner: Stan Store

Types of Products You Can Sell

Stan Store:

On Stan Store, you can sell coaching calls, digital products (eBooks, templates, guides), courses, subscriptions and memberships. You can also create link-in-bio and lead magnets (freebies for collecting website visitor emails).

Stan shines when it comes to simplicity. Upload your file, add a title, set a price, and it’s live. I especially love the seamless booking flow for coaching calls, it connects easily with your calendar and doesn’t require third-party tools. However, it is a bit limited when you need more customization around how your products are delivered or upsells and downsells.

Systeme.io:

Systeme allows users to sell online courses, funnels (with upsells, downsells & order bumps), physical products, digital downloads, membership sites, webinars, coaching and affiliate products.

Systeme.io has a full suite of marketing and sales tools. You can build multi-step funnels, run A/B tests, and include multiple types of offers in one single flow. If you are planning to build sales funnels or sell high-ticket products with automation, Systeme is hands down the winner here

Winner: Systeme

Email Marketing & Automation

Stan Store provides basic email collection and limited automation features on the Creator plan and users can send downloadable products automatically to users when they opt in. Email marketing flows are limited to the more expensive Creator Pro plan however, if you want to send broadcast emails, autoresponders, or segmented campaigns, you will need to integrate with a third-party tool (like ConvertKit or Mailchimp).

For simple lead magnet → email collection → digital product delivery flows, it works. But don’t expect advanced drip campaigns or behavioral automation here.

Systeme.io on the other hand offers a full email marketing platform with unlimited email campaigns, autoresponders, visual automation builder, segmentation based on user behavior, tags, workflows and more.

If email marketing is important to your business, Systeme.io gives you the tools to do everything in-house, no extra cost or software needed. For me, this was a game-changer. I could launch a funnel and have email sequences, upsells, and automation all from the same place.

Winner: Systeme

Course Building & Delivery

Stan Store:

For course creation, Stan Store’s course builder is basic but works if you are not looking for something complex. You can create modules with video and text, add downloadable resources, and lock lessons until previous ones are completed.

What I liked: The student experience is clean and distraction-free. What I didn’t like: You can’t add quizzes, or detailed student tracking.

Systeme:

Course delivery is one of Systeme’s strongest features. You can build full online courses with: Modules and lessons, multimedia support (Video, text, files), drip content, student tracking, automated access and integrated upsells (e.g., sell another course at the end).

For course creators who want a proper course structure and student controls, Systeme.io delivers.

Winner: Systeme

Pricing

Stan Store Pricing

  • Creator Plan: $29/month
  • Creator Pro Plan: $99/month (includes affiliate marketing, email marketing, better analytics, etc.)

Stan Store does not have a free plan, but a 14-day free trial is available. Pricing is very transparent, what you see is what you get. You’re mostly paying for simplicity and a slick, mobile-first experience.

Systeme.io Pricing

  • Free Plan: Yes! (up to 2,000 contacts, 3 funnels, 1 course)
  • Startup Plan: $17/month
  • Webinar Plan: $47/month
  • Unlimited Plan: $97/month (everything unlocked)

Systeme.io has a generous free plan which makes it a good choice for beginners. Even on the free tier, you get email marketing, funnels, a course, and automations. That’s hard to beat.

Both Stan Store and Systeme do not charge transaction fees on any plan including the free plan for Systeme making them ideal for scaling.

Winner: Systeme

Its free plan without transaction fees and cheap paid plans with more features makes it a clear winner on pricing.

Mobile Experience & Social Selling

This is where Stan Store clearly wins. It is designed with creators who sell through social media in mind. Your Stan Store becomes a sleek link-in-bio storefront that looks great on mobile and encourages fast action.

Systeme.io, on the other hand, is built more like a traditional funnel builder. You can make it mobile-friendly, but it takes more effort. And it is not designed to replace your link-in-bio the way Stan is.

If most of your traffic comes from TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube Shorts, Stan’s mobile-first design is a major advantage.

Winner: Stan Store

Affiliate Marketing

Stan Store added affiliate marketing tools on the Creator Pro plan, which lets your audience promote your offers. It is simple and works, but is not super customizable.

Systeme.io has full affiliate tracking, affiliate links, commission settings, payout management, and even an affiliate marketplace where you can recruit affiliates or promote others' products.

If you plan to grow through affiliates, Systeme.io is the clear winner here.

Winner: Systeme

Final Verdict: Which Platform Is Best in 2025?

Overall, Systeme.io is the platform that offers the best value for money but the one you should choose depends on your specific needs.

Choose Stan Store if:

  • You are a creator, coach, or influencer who sells mainly on social media
  • You want a very simple tool that is mobile friendly
  • You are selling a few digital products, coaching calls, or a single course
  • You don’t need complex automations or email funnels

🏆 Best for beginner creators who want to monetize fast without the headaches of learning how to use a platform.

Choose Systeme.io if:

  • You are building full sales funnels, online courses, or an entire digital product business
  • You need in-built email marketing, automation, and affiliate features
  • You are tech savvy and want more customization options
  • You are looking for more value at a lower monthly cost

🏆 Best for marketers, course creators, and digital entrepreneurs who want everything in one platform.

Stan Store works best for launching quick offers, especially when you want to launch a lead magnet or sell a one-time digital product through Instagram. It is fast, beautiful, and easy for your followers to use.

Systeme.io is good for more complex digital business needs like sales funnels, courses, email sequences, evergreen launches and more. It doesn’t look as good as Stan Store but it is very powerful and eliminates the need for multiple software subscriptions.

If you are still finding it hard to decide, try both platforms for free (Stan has a trial, Systeme has a free plan) to see which one you’ll like better.
